The Ask

Alta Vida is under the Green Cross portfolio which has a number of semi developed cannabis brands. The ask specifically for Alta Vida was to fill holes within the brand by creating the tagline and flower packaging. The challenge? Do so with a logo, color scheme and style guide established from a previously utilized agency.

The Result

Most cannabis packaging is simple and centers around the premise of one color scheme. Sativa in the red hue range, Indica in the blue, and Hybrid in the green. We broke the mold, going with a multitude of primary colors for all receptacles and the consumer labels in order to stand out on shelf.

The tagline was created to reinforce the band name which translates to “High Altitude”. Therefore, the official tagline “life is better up here” reinforces the brand, the name and the nature of this top shelf product.
